The reson for the silence

I'm so glad to see a lot of subscribers to my blog! I have so many ideas I want to share with you, but I don't have much time for experimental flash photography these days. On March 7th my wife and I was blessed with a beautiful baby boy and he takes all my time I have.

When I get over the shock that I'm actually someone's dad and things are stabilizing around here, I will start to shoot and write again. I just hope it won't take too much time. If Vincent Laforet can, I can too:)

In the meantime, here's the reason why I feel like the luckiest person alive:

Congratulations. I was 40 before I became a dad for the first time. If I'd had any idea how it would feel I'd have done it at 20. Enjoy and capture the moments.

Congratulations! And isn't that a lovely and unique picture you posted! And you said you didn't have time! Enjoy all the time though. We will still be here, but your baby will grow so fast!

Congratulations on the baby. I do know the feeling, it makes the world spin and it really does take a while to land properly.

Good luck, and all the best to all three of you.

Congratulations Zetson - I thought that might be the reason why there were no new posts from you.

Atleast now you've got a great subject to practice lighting on :)

Congratulations. As a father of two, I can assure you that you'll get back into the swing of things once you and your wife are able to get your child into a comfortable routine. Then you'll realize what great subjects kids are. My kids both pretty much ignore the camera anymore...great for candids and experimental flash photography.

Can't wait to see your future experiments.

Again, congrats.

That'll keep you busy for the next 20 years at least. And you'll never be stuck for a picture idea either.

Herlig bilde som gir et veldig godt bilde av hvordan det er å bli forelder! Tenk, ei så lita hånd... og den skal man se vokse i mange, mange år! :)

Gratulerer som pappa - tror egentlig aldri sjokket går helt over, jeg. :b
